Renters insurance. A must have!
So far, Lemonade has been great! Currently, I'm using them for my renter's insurance. They have auto, home, and life insurance as well, but there are likely cheaper companies for those. I'm paying $7 a month for $100K in liability with added coverage for water damage. Coverages also included in that price are $10K for personal property, $1,500 for portable electronics, $3,000 for loss of use of your apartment, and $1K in medical costs for others who might come to your property. The onboarding process was seamless, and you can file a claim within the app. I haven't filed a claim yet, thankfully, but I feel at ease knowing it will be a simple process.
